just wanted to say that the red cross auction is a great idea. tonight i saw first hand the red cross at work. i got a phone call, telling me that my aunt n uncles house was on fire. i have been very close to them throughout my life. i rushed over there to find the garage up in flames and smoke flowing out of every window in the house. my aunt was telling me how it was ironic today. they were at the mall and a man was outside ringing the bell for change. i beleive it was the red cross. my uncle dug in his pocket and gave him a $10 bill. my aunt made a sarcastic joke "i thought i said change" my uncle said " it's for people who are in need" my uncle was talking to my aunt tonight after the fire and he said " now we are the ones in need"
sorry for the long post. just want to remind everyone to donate a little change to these organizations. u never know if you will be the next one in need.
