So I got a D90 and a AF-S DX VR 55-200 lens.

I'm new to all of this camera stuff,Is there a certain way to set it up for photo's from the boat?

I'm not so camera savvy...

Thanks JH

Practice practice practive. The beauty of digital is that you can delete everything that looks like mung. I'll let Nikon guys specify settings for you, cause there are a lot of 'pros' on here who really know their stuff. Actually, do a quick search for Garrett Cortese (sp?) article on wakeboarding photography.

That is a good article..Now I need to read the manual for the camera so I can set it right lol.
If I have it on "auto" will it do it for me? That is the setting that uses the brain of the camera right?

Man I hate reading...

Yeah I will. Are you going for the 1st INT event? I saw Alex quickly at Spankey Beaver but I just showed up and dropped some $ off to someone and rolled out in less than 10 minutes.

There is a wealth of knowledge at kenrockwell.com. I have used his "Owners manual for the average joe" lots of times to learn how to use my Nikon D40. He isn't just a Nikon guy though. He does articles about lots of camera makers and lenses. He is a sharp guy that takes awesome photos.
