Ok ive been trying to find out what is wrong with my boat..
i dont think its my strut bearing there is no play in the shaft..
now my ? is i have a lots of dings in my prop
can this cause a rattle in my tranny..
one i put in gear at low rpm my tranny has a rattle..
once i get going it goes away
im thinking that maybe we hit something at the river any advice will help..

yes, time to get a new propeller or have it repaired

There is a slight bit of play in the cutlass bearing that allows for water lubrication. If your prop is out of balance, that play will be transmitted to your tranny. I cannot say that the tranny is fine, but the prop needs chaning NOW. A 3-blade Acme for your boat is $310 shipped. Add the Weekend saver kit (case, tools, hardware) and you are at $400 shipped. www.boarditup.com

i just got a nibral 3 blade new for $150 put on..
what a steal...it was dusty but its perfect
an i think it sloved my problem
