Check out Josh Twelker's Tige MyWake video:

Some hammers, some style stuff. Unfortunately all filmed from the boat, but some cool tricks regardless.

I thought it was supposed to be your best, unedited 2min run?

Don't know what video u watched but I saw a switch hs9, switch hs7, and switch crow 5. Pretty solid tricks in my opinion.

I think the point was you can't tell which side is switch because he does so many tricks from both sides

Love watching that guy. He is looking good coming off injury.

Noticed his cut in towards the wake has changed? or no? Looks like he takes a Rusty-esk cut on his heelside cut, and his toe side cut is similar in that he really has an exaggerated initial turn towards the wake to start his cut. Maybe its just been so long since I have seen him ride... Whatever he is doing, its working... favorite guy to watch ride.

He is on a 2013 X-Star now. The video was taken the two days before Worlds. He was riding a 2007 Malibu VLX, because we thought that wake would be closer to the Supra wake. It worked! He made finals at Worlds.

I'm curious about his new board. It looks like it has a huge double concave through the tips.

Thanks Peter.... I was curious because it looked so familiar, and starting thinking maybe the x-25's wake is just like mine (A22), but nope, it basically IS my wake

I also noticed it looks like his cut is different. Is there anything to that Peter? I noticed a lot of the top guys (Harley,Dowdy, Twelker) seem to flatten out before the wake and even have that little pre pop before the wake. Guessing it is to get less line tension.

The bottom features are similar to the LF Witness, but it has continuous rocker.

Thats was fun to watch!

There are definitely some riders that throw out the whole addage of the "correct" way to edge into the wake. It seems his approach is pretty consistent all the way into the wake, except for the very begenning of his approach. The way he comes out of that "chair position"/releases and gets booted is definitely a skill to envy.

Notice that on tricks where he is looking for upward pop, especially spins, he will flatten out quite a bit before the wake. On tricks where he is looking to have the wake kick him around, like the Crow 5, he will take a more progressive edge through the wake. Throughout his career, he has ridden a lot with Chris Dykmans. Chris' style has no doubt had an influence on how he approaches the wake. Also, if you were to ask him, I think he would say that line tension would have a lot to do with it.
