One of my preparations for the summer is putting a new cover on my boat. Right now I have a temporary throw over cover that you cinch up. The options I'm looking at for the new cover are pimarily snap-ons. On my last boat I didn't really like the snaps. They were punched into the deck and didn't really add to the clean look of the boat. Today at my dealer, I saw a boat with the snaps on the rubrail; that looked really good, an they were out o the way of stray hands/feet.

Anyone have experience with having snaps put on the rubrail? Any pros or cons for the two snap placement options?

Appreciate your guys' opinions
