Last night we went to the Minneapolis boat show. This is our 15th year in a row of attending the show. And this year, if your shopping for a new wakeboat, there are alot of them there. My guess is there were around 45-50 wakeboats there, the brands I saw were Axis, Centurion, Malibu, MasterCraft, Moomba, Nautique, Supra, and Tige'.

I spent most of my time looking at the Tige's. My first inboard was a Tige', and that's what my next wakeboat will most likely be.

Here are some pitures of the Tige' booth from the show. Family Marine is doing a great job of marketing the Tige' line in Minnesota. I hope they have continued success with the line.

I was planning on hitting all the manufacturers booths again and taking more pictures, but when going to a boat show with a seven and eight year old, you spend alot of time running to bathrooms, getting snacks, and looking at the pontoons too.

Looks like it was a good show. I missed it this year ... didn't want to drive for a couple of hours in sub-zero temperatures to get there.

It was a great show. It was nice to see the wakeboats represented well. I got there early on saturday and I got to talk to Tony from Tige as well. He was a nice guy spent some time with me and showed me that boat inside and out. The RZ2 that is. I also got to talk with Craig from the Malibu factory. He was a great guy to my wife really liked the A22 they had in their booth. So he took us through that.

Man, I love the boat show! It was great to talk with so many that love this awesome sport of ours. For me, it's a big social meet and greet. My voice went hoarse from talking to so many folks. There were boats there?? Can't wait to get on the water this season!

Mad props to Colin for scoring a deal with Nautique. You earned it.

Dang, was the R20 going for less than $40k?

What is the pricing on those bad boys? RZR?

Couple more of the MC booth. I thought this was one of the better boat shows and I've been working this one for 10 years or so, glad to see so many inboards around, much better than I.O's From what I heard inboards and pontoons killed it this year.

I don't think that I will ever be fond of that new mastercarft tower. The Tiges sure do look good!!

We are pumped to have Colin on the water this year behind the Super Air 230. Great guy, great rider, great family, can't beat that combo.

I know everyone has an opinion, and I also know what mine is worth, but I just have to say that when I went to buy a new boat this fall, I was absolutely SET on buying an X-35. However, after seeing the "Transformers meets erector set" tower as well as some other things, I ordered a new Tige`. I can't say MC's new direction excites me much.

Oh, and I know the old tower is still available, I was looking forward to something not in the field of vision of the driver.

I went and compared the R20 to the RZR and I will tell you as a price point boat the R20 is pretty damn impressive. I think with that boat TIGE hit it out of the park. I know they are going after the X2 market. When X2's are somewhere upper 60s to 80s Tige should do very well with the R20 and RZR. I know they offer it without TAPS but in my opinion no dealer would order one with out it.
