I've got the opportunity to get a hugely discounted LF board (from their whole range) but really like the 3DS, which is most similar?

I would try the Team 139, you can add/subtract fins to your preference, fairly fast and soft landings.

problem with the team is the strength, I know so many people who've snapped this board on kickers & sliders (which i hit every session as I'm a cable rider)

its strange cause it seems every LF board this year is Aggressive 3stage, which after aggressive 3 stages being so unpredictable, i'm suprised they've release so many. is there nothing inbetween?

The Team is still Continuous. Although the LF site says "CONTINUOUS AGGRESSIVE", whatever that means.

When it was still the TFD I found the board to have a similar feel to the Substance, it did seem slightly quicker and of course a bit heavier but I figured if I was ever going to purchase a Hyperlite that would be the board. For the record, I don't plan on purchasing a Hyperlite any time soon.

Buy me a 142 watson or a 140 shane and you can have my 06 143 3DS I also have 06 Large 3DS Bindings. Both used but lifetime warrantied

No sliders

ain't the watson and shane supper aggressive 3 stage, hence super inconsistent?

Harry...I never said it was the watson or shane I said I would give you my 06 3DS if you gave me a watson or a shane

a board with a 3-stage rocker isn't inconsistent. what makes it inconsistent is the rider. if the rider's fundamentals aren't consistent, then the ride won't be as well.

further, i would say a subjekt/shane pops more vertical. and the pop from a tfd/3ds is up, but more out toward the flats

joe, i agree,
but what i'm saying is ridin the parks compared to the premier is very different, love the smoothness but poppy nature of the premier. which i found with the 3ds too
