All you guys seem to have the coolest wakeboats, but they all seem to be open bow. Doesn't anyone ride closed bow boats? How about you salt water / open sea people? I have a 21' cuddy and over here in the atlantic ocean i wouldn't even concider open bow.

Well, wake boats are not meant for open water. Sure the larger ones, can go through rough water, looking for smooth water, but they aren't really designed for it. You have the marine version of an SUV. A wakeboat is the marine version of a sports car. Your boat does many things well. A wake boat does one thing perfectly.

post some pics then! I'm guessing that 90% of the people here are riding Wakeboard specific boats. The only time they see rough sees may be at the Ozarks going out to party.

I use my boat in the bay on many times 2-3ft and its fine. Sure its anoying but it doesnt take water over the front and it doesnt get to wet except for a couple small sprays every now and then.

well put Robb. Still i think i've seen a post somewhere saying there have been produced wake-specific boats with closed bows.. That certainly would make more sense in my case as the weather conditions change fast round here and we might have as much as an hour long ride home when we're done boarding
