After a long wait from the factory and few decisions on colors, the official boat has finally arrived.

Another Supra comes into the word. The all Black looks sweet. I had to go with a more family friendly colors.

There seems to be alot of Supra activity on this board lately.

That boat and ten or so miles of dirt road ain't gonna go too good together. The blurb looks like it needs some overloaders or bags. Boat looks sweet. Black is sick.

are the new 22ssv's taller in the rear than previous years?
Old    DRA            05-21-2007, 8:27 AM Reply
Thanks for all the compliments. I was getting a little impatient waiting but it was well worth the wait. She goes into the stereo shop next week and should be well broke in by then.

dj- I am a little confused in what your asking.

Coop- I am thinking about Pillsbury but all the dirt has me a little worried. I did get all the optional covers though.

beauty dra..... looks familiar for some reason....
dj - the new 22ssv is a totally different hull. it is basically a smaller version of the 24ssv, so yest it is taller in the rear and all the way around. different seating config and a ton more storage than the old 22.
Old     (acurtis_ttu)      Join Date: May 2004       05-21-2007, 8:34 AM Reply
dj-yes the transom has been redesigned and is "taller".
Old    DRA            05-21-2007, 8:41 AM Reply
dj-

thanks guys for the response for some reason "taller" was missing from the screen. I was wondering what "in the rear than previous years" meant.

Diggs,

I still wish I would have blacked out the top deck. Yours has the extra little something to it. Was it yours that has the black tower? And did you order it from the factory that way. I was told it was a no can do.

That's alright if you're into that kind of thing.

ha, ha, ha...... LOL!!! Pimp a$$ boat, Gary. Get some break-in hours on that thing and take me out for a pull. I'll trade you a ride in the bone crusher for a ride in that thing. What'da-ya think?
Old     (tyler97217)      Join Date: Aug 2004       05-21-2007, 9:12 AM Reply
ha ha... that taking it in the rear is pretty akward.....
dra - yeah you powdercoat the tower aftermarket and can do it for under $200. the problem is you want to do it when the boat comes in before you put the tower on. otherwise now you will have to take the tower off and re-wire it all... if you are considering doing it, you will want to do it now before all your stereo equipment gets wired through there. either way it looks damn sexy..
Old     (dizzyj)      Join Date: Jul 2003       05-21-2007, 9:46 AM Reply
nice. That was really my only issue with the previous years 22ssv. Hows the wake compared to previous years and the 21v?

btw, beatifull boat. I think thats supras best looking so far.

dj.... everything is bigger about the new 22ssv
Old     (sanddragon2004)      Join Date: Jul 2005       05-21-2007, 10:47 AM Reply
wow is that what you guys will be towing in all the contests this year with?
Old    DRA            05-21-2007, 11:09 AM Reply
Evan,

Definitely a fair trade, I should have it broke in in the next day or two and then its all about weight.

Diggs - I had to stay with the polished tower the wife was not hot on the black one on ours but she loves it on your. Who figures?

You need to change your name you are no longer sanger215guy....
You think your knees can handle the Bonecrusher
Old    DRA            05-22-2007, 7:56 AM Reply
Al,

ya no sweat on the bonecrusher, The doc said the new knee is 175% better than the old one. OH SH!+ I just realized that the other knee is still old. What the hell you only live once and last time I checked I don't do any thing close to your 25' into the flats.

Coop; this is not the current boat but the one we had at Spring Ride and the wake will be the same. Photo By WCW ; Rider - Joel DeRoche
