I'm just excited that the envelope continues to be pushed every year from many different dimensions. Regardless of how you want to cut it, the fact that wakeboarders and snowboarders both stand sideways on a "board" will result in similarities between the two. I'm sure kiteboarders really have their gears ground when they're compared to wakeboarders.
The different styles of tricks that were attempted at DON I really believe shows that wakeboarding continues to diversify itself and the style of tricks that can done. The mobius style of trick continues to be pushed, the spins continue to be pushed, and now that double flips seem to have revived, it adds another dimension of "big trick" that can keep wake fans on their toes as we never know where the next new hammer is going to come from. Granted, some of these may be a bit extreme, I'll never use the word impossible lightly anymore, but I could see TS 2xBR to blind, fakie, TS double mobe, cab double, wrapped double... and with Trevor hansen sticking a wake to wake double, who knows where that could lead as what could be done in a tournament pass, without the aid of a double up. I can admit that I'll never be able to attempt these tricks, however the prospect that the sport is progressing so far and fast that these could start going down has me more excited about wake than ever.
