It has been way too long since the last competition. This weekend August 1st and 2nd at Villa Lagos will be the next competition. Free dinner Saturday night with Karaoke and dancing to follow. Always free camping all weekend, with practice on Friday. We have 4 events left and in order to qualify for the Western Invitational you must make 50% of our events. By making the last four you will have made 50%. I hope to see everyone there, especially all the newbies we had at Acompo. Who's going?

Jason - I've picked you a special treat for this weekend... T-10...

If you haven't been to an INT in Nor Cal - you are missing out. Great riding, free dinner and dancing, should be a great time had by all.

See you this weekend!

Squid, I knew you were a good accountant.

Me and a friend of mine ride in the oregon INT. We are going to be down at lake shasta this weekend. Maybe we will stop in and ride. What time does the wakeboarding usually start? I ride in the advanced division and my friend rides in the expert division...

Anyone know what time wakeboarding usually starts on sat and sunday?
Old     (hillbilly)      Join Date: Aug 2002       07-28-2009, 11:35 AM Reply
Starts at 9 but advanced and expert run about 11.
Old     (beau4889)      Join Date: Jul 2009       07-28-2009, 12:08 PM Reply
OH ok. Do you Wakeboard there? How are the wakes? I know some INT events have some really small wakes cause of how shallow some of the lakes are.
Old     (beau4889)      Join Date: Jul 2009       07-28-2009, 12:09 PM Reply
Does everyone else agree that Adv and Expert divisions usually start around 11?
Old     (wakedad33)      Join Date: Oct 2005       07-28-2009, 1:40 PM Reply
wakeboarder89, It depends on how many riders show up, NorCal INT draws a pretty a big crowd, I would guess the advanced and expert division would be after 2:00, but it's a guess. Chuck?
Old     (wakebrdmom)      Join Date: Mar 2006       07-28-2009, 3:48 PM Reply
Like Randy says it depends on number of wakeboarders. Running order usually: Entro divisions, Mini outlaw, Jr, Womens, & Mens double boat with Novice, Jr, Womens, Mens and Veterans. Then depending on numbers again, we sometimes will double boat with Intermediate in there too}, Jr, Womens, Mens and Masters. Then we go into Adv, expert, outlaw, Masters open and pro.

Typically advanced starts between 12 & 1. But, I would be there and registered before 11, just in case.

The wake will be good. This is a wakeboard lake. It's about 8 feet deep in the center. Not too much problem getting a good wake.

oh ok. sounds good. I think I will probably show up. Still not for sure though.

I wish. Blew out my shoulder at the last event and my doc says no. Haven't seen water since. Surgery in a month. I should have stuck with the duct tape. I'm rooting for the mudhole peeps.

Sorry to hear that Paul. Good luck with surgery, hope to see you riding again next season. Duct tape is the best fix for almost anything!

Paul - you have to admit - you rocked the duct tape look. I wish you well with your recovery!

hahaha. I'll be back next year. I've been here before as this is my second shoulder surgery. Last surgery lasted 2 years before I had to resort to the duct tape.

Crashed super bad on a Raley. Hurt his shoulder, but worse, he was concussed. That evening he lost about an hour or so of memory... the time right before until about an hour later. He was up, talking, conversing, etc. after the crash, but later that night he couldn't remember talking to me at least.

It was sorta hard to ride after that happend... glad I wasn't up right after like Squid!
