Okay, So I have a Mastercraft 205DD. I want to put 2 12's in the driver footwell, under the dash. I'm gonna make it fit one way or another but thought I'd put out some feelers to the WW community. Anyone done this before? Got Pics of similar installs?

Would you not consider putting one int he passenger locker? Maybe down firing so it just looked like a carpeted box... seems like that would spread the sound around a bit better?

Do you already have the subs?

We just purchased an new BU VLX and they guy that is doing the stereo for us is going to put 2 12s under the drivers footwell. He was explaining it to me that you get better sound that way as opposed to one under the driver and one under the passenger

David: Jason has a Pro Star 209, He has 2 Arc Audio Flatline 12's at the drivers foot well. Its a tight fit

2 12's will fit in that location it just requires alot of work to squeeze them into that tiny aera.
His fiberglass foot stop had to be cut out and removed and the floor re-glassed.

I installed 2 12's at the drivers foot well.
I had to remove lots of wires and re locate a bunch of stuff in the end it was /is all worth it.

Thanks for the responses. I did think about splitting them up one to the passenger side, but you gotta remember I've got a DD and need to maximize my storage as much as possible. I already have 3 amps on the passenger side.
I'm definitely gonna have to move some wiring and relocate the heater but atleast I got a couple months to make it work before spring hits!

Any thoughts on mounting one woofer downfiring and one on a wall 90 degrees to it? Will I get a cancellation effect?

save your money, throw one 15 under the footwell and power the crap out of it. it will pound.

Look back at who wins the "sound off" contests...1-12 or 1-15.
