2000 Mastercraft X-star and would like some input

I'm looking at this boat and want to see what people know about the year of this boat and whether it is a good price. The main thing that scares me is that the motor had to be replaced due to a bad engine the dealer said. They have paperwork on the engine and it was done not too long ago but I need some help in determining whether or not I should take the risk. It is in great shape and this will be my first wakeboard boat. Any help would be appreciated. I would even go as far as to ask you to call the dealer and act interested and see what he tells you over the phone. I'm not the most boat savvy but I wasn't born yesterday either.
