So after 1/2 a season it was time to upgrade the bass on one of the systems we did last year.

Here is the original build: 2009 Sanger V215 stereo, tint, bimini...

With some careful measurements and the addition of another JL HD750/1 we decided that 4 JL Audio 13w3v3 would work with the air space, power and type of sound the owner was looking for. Let the pictures do the talking....

This boat sounded unreal. The bass output complimented the 2 Wet Sounds 485s on the tower perfect. The system is very efficient for how much output it has. With the 4 6volt batteries it took a few hours to get down to 12volts. This boat turned many heads out in the Delta last year and might break some necks this year.

That boat is totally sick now, WOW! Great job on those boxes I really cannot believe those two 13.5's fit under the dash like that. Gotta love people getting their tax money back! You guys have done an unreal job on this boat from start to current.

Was out with this family this weekend. This boat is unreal. So much to look at and everything is so clean. Chillin at mid volume this thing is so crisp and clean. Soo nice to be around a boat that doesnt have to be running to bump the system for more than ten minutes lol... Also love the idea on the passenger compartment with the switch. Great job guys..

I want this boat....

What did you do to prevent the MDF from swelling up and getting mildew after a wet summer? I can appreciate the time spent building this thing!

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

Mario - The mount is made by Pro Fit
Richard - I'm glad you had a in person experience with this boat. Being in and around this boat is so much better than any pictures. I can't take credit for the switch on the passenger seat.. that was Shawn's request.
The switch that Richard is referring to is a mini magnetic switch added to the spotters seat that turns on the passenger subs only when the seat is open. This allows for just the subs under the drivers dash to be playing while under way and all 4 to be played while at the selected party spot.
Brian - Standard MDF is not used in any boats. Only Extira.
Stephen - www.acmetopsandtunes.com
Ryan - Thanks buddy. I might need to get the same carbon lesson you gave Scott.

What is the headroom like with the 485s up on the tower? I'm considering getting a 3Some setup on my 237; I assume the headroom is the same as the 215.

I'm 6'3, would I need to start ducking if I were in that boat?

Scott - Sorry about that. If you want to come by and see the TOMCAT 23 and the Centurion we are working on feel free.

I'm 6' and I clear but I can't remember by how much. I'm pretty sure the 237 is taller from floor to tower than the 215.

I think what I like aside from the stellar work is the class that you people show on here. The way I see it Ryan & Ben you guys are in competition, especially with your close distance to each other. Yet you can come on here and praise each others work. Way to go.

Ben, truly nice work. I enjoy watching you, as well as others here, create the works of art that you do. Thank you for sharing

Heard this thing pound for over four hours straight this weekend! I still am in in disbelief the batteries lasted that long. It wasnt showing any signs of slowing down either. When he fired it up I figured he'd be dead in 2 maybe 3 hours max at that level... VERY efficient.. Im really impressed with this thing, as im sure half the Delta is now..
