If a rope snaps under normal use is that covered under warranty? My handle sank with it too :-(

I can like send in the little bit of rope left to prove its an accurate line? Dunno how this would work.

Your buddy choked, wasn't the handle still in his hands when he snapped it? lol}

My buddy snapped a straightline rope used only about 10 times. I bought a new one. It happens and not everything should be replaced for free. Funny how weve gotten to that point where we feel nothing we use in this sport should break. I remember tripping when it snapped though since its not really supposed to happen and it cost me 120 bucks. Bummer! Thats a nasty raspberry on the leg BTW!

his leg is even worse today, from looking at the video we think he punched himself with the handle after the snap. pretty crazy stuff.

rich im not trying to get free stuff just to get free stuff, i paid good money for the rope and havent even used it a full season...if they dont cover it i wont be bashing them or anything like that, was just curious if it was covered or not. I def dont want to be the guy who rips off companys!

I know what your talking about the same thing happened to me. I thought the exact same thing. In fact when I was buying the new one I even told the guy how mine broke in less than 10 times out. They cost a fortune and we expect them to last forever. My point was more of an observation not mean spirited. But seriously why do ropes that cost over 100 bucks break. I got a coated one this time around. I hope its better!
