We have been running the bow ballast center back left and wedge and have everyone on the left side of the boat, but the wake is still pretty small

What ballast setup should we try??? in the pics we were running center back left and wedge, with 5 people in the back left corner. Should I buy fat sacs and use those? Any advice would be great!!

Thanks

Chris

Don't use the ballest in the front, you will notice a big difference in just taking that weight out. You want all of the weight in the back and by using the ballest in the ski locker it off sets the weight that you added to the back of the boat. My dad has the same boat and that is what we do. A sack will also help with it a lot.

Chris, I have an LSV also. Here's a pic of the wake. We were running 600 in the back locker, 250 on the passenger side (port) seat, with 4 people all sitting on the port side. We were using the MLS center ballast also and no wedge.

That looks nice, is that an 04? or is the old desgin? Also why no wedge? I was thinking that having a bigger wave would help me keep going with out the rope, i cant stay on, but that might be a me problem. But yea thanks we'll try it out the next time we go.

2004 LSV, 1 corner MLS filled, 600 next to it in locker, 600 in front of it, wedge and 600 on the cusion on top of the other 600. 3 men and some beer. We have a perfect curl

I borrowed an 04 WLSV From My dealer. I set it up with Rear ballast filled on the starboard side, front ballast and mid filled, 800 lbs of steel plate on the starboard side and the wedge down. This did not work well for us. The swim platform was digging into the wake and cutting off half of it. Any ideas would be great. I have a 03 WVLX and get a great curl off of it.

DOn't fill front Ballast all weight in rear corner. We use the passenger side cause it has the better curl.

Yea the transom drags....but then the water comes over the rear of the boat too :-)
