Scott,
why does it look like there are star trails in the water?

I like the shot.

Scott Clark, tough mid-day light in Reno that weekend, nice shot of JD's method.

Scott_a, I was wondering the same thing as Barry, is that a long exposure shot catching and reflecting the star trails? Sick shot.

Yep...long exposure shot w/ stars reflecting off the water. Here's a wider shot

Nice!! I like the wider shot. What time of night? No fish eye this time.

Both were shot around 11pm. I've been wanting to expand beyond my comfort zone (shooting night stuff w/ fishy) for awhile, and someone I was with suggested that I try shooting the reflection off the lake since it was so bright out and the water was super still. It was a nice change to have someone say that instead of 'whoa! that's cool!' haha That bottom pic is fish-eye, though.
