Just wondering if there are any issues operating your boat in thick algae. Either with the motor or your ballast system. We start out early spring at lake of the prairies until it turns green mid july, then we have to move on to a different lake.

Make sure the raw water intake does not get clogged.

Has anyone ran into any other problems with water flow through the motor or ballast pumps. We love the lake other than the algae, it's over 20 miles long and little boat traffic other than the fisherman. I can live with cleaning the scum off the bottom, but don't want to do any internal damage.
