James, i was lucky enough to be able to ride a lot of bindings this year. Among them was the sovens and the teams. I started out with the sovens.. rode them for a few weeks and then caught a back edge on a late bs 180 and ripped the binding in half. i might have a picture.. i will try to post it if i do. Honestly if the binding didnt rip i would probably be missing my right foot bc it would have been ripped off lol. So the next binding i went with was the 2010 HL team. Loved them for the first few days then i started to get a lot of toe lift and the laces started breaking. After a week and a half of riding i took another gnarly fall on a ts front roll i took out into the flats.. needless to say i broke my board (2010 shane) and ripped the binding baseplate in half. Since i didnt like the fit of she teams i went back with the sovens and am still riding them without problems. overall the team has more toe room, different footbed, and cheap laces. if you buy the teams ride them with socks, trust me it makes a huge difference! if you get the sovens glue the footbeds down cause they will pull out everytime you take them off. Comfort=sovens, and as far as lasts the longest i really cant say cause i have broken both but i would go with the sovens.. they fit tight though, but break in give them 15 sets till they feel realllll good
