My only thoughts are lots of $$$$$$$$$, and what is your reasoning ? Longevity or style ? Don't get me wrong I think it would look B.A. just not sure of the strength and cost of an all aluminum trailer that would be beefy enough to hold that boat. I'm interested to hear other people's thoughts ...

Most of the aluminums heavy duty enough to carry that weight are I beams. Thats all I've ever seen and I lived in Florida for a while on the water(inter coastal) and thats about all there is down there. Never saw one in color. Not exactly what I would call a good looking trailer. Cost for those type are about 1.5-2 times that of a comparable steel trailer. But I'm guessing cost isn't an issue, though.

IMO a steel tube trailer color matched to the boat would look way better than an aluminum I beam trailer.

I've never been a fan of the bolted together I-Beam aluminum trailers. Your boat will definitely sit higher than normal.

We boat in brackish water so I had McClain Trailers in Houston build a custom C-Channel aluminum trailer for my boat. I really like it.

I'll upload some pics tomorrow.

The Boatmate painted over galvanized is a very nice option as well.

Does anyone know about how much a tandem axle Boatmate paint over galvanized cost? I'm awaiting a quote from my dealer, but I just wanted to get an idea. I'm getting a quote for the standard trailer with alloy wheels and quoting a tricked out paint over galvanized too.

I would guess it would be around $6k.
