Starting without the rope

Im a fairly good surfer- im ready to start without the rope HOW????
is it similar to flowrider?
when I try flowrider style drop in the board wants to suck under the swim deck

Not sure but when I start off the swim deck WITH the rope I can never go straight off the back I have to push off of one corner. Will be watching to see what they say.

i paddled in twice before. its sketchy tho the boat has to make an inside turn around you as you paddle and litteraly so close it almost hits you for you to be close enough to the pocket.

I seen a guy start off the swim deck no rope w/ the wait on the nose of the board then it looked like he would just lean back an K-pow he was surfin.... no one knows how to start that way???

Yeah, it is just like that Russ. Keeps you dry and warm in the cold winter months, but does some wear and tear on your board/platform. You put the board on the edge of your swim platform with the fins hanging off, and then just lean back some until it pulls you loose. After that just lean forward or start pumping to stay in the pocket.
