Any thought on protection for ear drums when riding? Ok, well it guess it is not really for riding but falling.

I have read some of the helmet threads here and was wondering if anyone is doing anything else.

Thanks!

there are helmets with flaps that come down on the ears or if you really want to you can get those things some swimmers wear that fit right into your ear and make it so no water can get in

I blew mine out at the end of summer and after that just wore this wax crud you can buy at Walmart that little kids put in their ears to keep water from getting in. Something easy and cheap..

i wear ear plugs. I tried the helmet with the flaps and couldnt get use to it.
Ear plugs are much lest bothersome for me at least.
Another option is the lF mp3 player. music and ear drum protection at the same time.

see an audiologist and get a custom pair made. They are comfortable, water tight, and stay in very well. Appx $70. "Aquanots"
