You guys are so lucky, we get ripped off on home prices in Cali. Sometimes I look around other states just to see what I could of bought for the price I paid for my home. This thread makes me wanna move!

Yea but when the rest of us are shoveling snow and you are still boarding we sometimes think we were the ones that made the wrong decision.

I will try to get some pics of our lake cabin this weekend.

I probably wouldn't wakeboard in Lake Tahoe. That water is freezing, even in the summer time.

Waylon, you're killing me! Tahoe is an awesome experience. The SpeakerSox picture on our homepage was taken at Tahoe. I jumped in the deep blue area of the lake, told everyone to duck and took a few pictures. The sheriff came cruising by and did a double take. Nothing like 100+ feet of clarity. You can see the shadow of the boat from the bottom.

Greers...Thanks man, its close! its actually on the river. close to tommy's trading post and safe harbor marina off of 43. Its always too rough to ride on the rez anyway but 9 times out of 10 its glass on the river (unless its the weekend of course, but even then, mornings and evenings are nice). kind of out in the middle of no where in terms of Jackson but waking up to that view, I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Greers...Yea the neighborhood is like a mile from Tommy's and I'm all the way at the end. So its not far. I'm plannin on makin a little winch/rail spot there in front of my house since its a private cove and I'm on the very end. Some friends suggested a while back to build my own boat ramp at the end but since its on the lift 99.9% of the time I opted out of that. And they can just stop being lazy and put in at tommys, which they have to pass to get to my house haha. Hit me up next time you come to the river! we'll ride and party or somethin

B Webb, I appreciate it, yea it looks like it belongs on the rez somewhere but its more peaceful, and better riding all the time. His leg was pretty messed up. kind of his own fault though, he got a new board a few weeks ago and added his bindings, but i don't think he has ever checked to make sure they are tight since he put them on. basically he went up for just a melon off the double up and was planning on a late BS 180. Hit it good, went up, held the grab started coming down and started to turn the 180 and as soon as the board hit the water his back binding came off the board, the front one stayed. his body kept spinning, board stuck, snapped his leg right under his shin. it was pretty nasty. he was a trooper though. i felt bad because he was one of my brothers friends from out of town so he normally doesn't ride with us. But he's alright. he's got a few screws and all cast up, but he'll be good to go next year.

As far as sunday, we should be out there. Saturday our biologists are coming to our farm to give us the info for this up and coming huntin season. I did hear that your company is gonna be doin a bit of filming on our land this year too! But yea i'll probably be out there sunday.

Wes, haha, good one. Gustav was a puss compared to katrina. and it wasn't much more than a normal thunderstorm here. we wanted it to look like the normal car garages mainly for function. people can't get in and have access to our stuff and i wanted it totally closed off b/c its actually heated and cooled.

That's on the Pamlico River, close to Bath, NC. The two closest large towns by water are Washington and Belhaven.
