Look up Seattle Marine on the web. We (and a whole lot of other people) are using the 7/64" Amsteel Blue. Had our rope for about 2 years with no major problems.

awesome stuff, have it on mine. its really small, really strong, and doesnt get caught in the fairlead

BTW comes in a 600 foot spool. if you buy more then 600 feet it comes in multiple pieces

SL makes a really nice spool of the Alloy Line. I have used it for years with no issues. I believe it is 500 or 600 feet. Costly but worth it.
