Thats awesome! We used to go out on an 82 Nautique that was f-ing beat up like a passed out prom date. He painted it himself with spray cans and unbolted the rear seat and turned it around. Those were some of best lake days back in the day. Keep rocking it! Those pics are great.

I use to own a old 84 centurion that I got as basically a tub. No floor, motor, or windsheild and needed new stringers. Put about 3g's in it and this is what it looked like when i got it. Upload

My economical tow vehicle/daily driver

Mine is silver but this is the loaner they gave me to test out. I commute about 30k a year and couldnt afford a vehicle that gets bad gas mileage but needed something to tow my boat so that was my compramise and I couldn't get that big of a boat so that was also my compramise. so for 45k I got both.

Doug, THAT IS SOO FREAKIN AWESOME! The same thing happened to me. We were using an 86 sunbird to pull with. I went out of town and got a call from some friends that went to my dock to tell me that it was under water. We used some tow straps, my dodge hemi, and also...A Big F'n TREE! Afterwards I had a friend fix it up and it ran and looked way better than b4 sinkin! Sadly tho I sold it to help fund a downpayment on hopefully a soon to be new Supra 21v

Thanks, it's really got one purpose and one purpose only - wakeboarding. I don't try to do anything else with it, my real goal is to keep it as durable as possible. No windshield, basic (easily removable) interior, basic concealed ballast setup, basic stereo and I don't have to worry about keeping it 'perfect' - which is the best part of all.

I picked it up minus the tower, ballast and stereo for $800.00 with a crap trailer and had to put some $$ into the engine to get it running....but it's great now and hasn't failed me yet.

Over 100hrs last summer (I'm in the North East)and I plan to do the same next summer...
