Flaming Gorge

I'm heading to antelope flat next weekend at the gorge...does anyone know anything about it? was this a good decision? Thanks

Brett,

I love time spent at the Gorge, though don't know anywhere by name. We just outside of the marina near Manila our last trip(where I think Antelope Flats is) and you are very close to where the canyon area starts.

Any decision to go to Flaming Gorge is a good decision. Where you camp is always secondary.

i dont know what EJ is talking about because the Gorge sucks. Those canyon walls cause the water to reverb all day long. You will never have smooth water unless you get up at 5 AM. Besides it is super crowded and dangerously low water levels!!

Forgot to mention the over abundance of super aggressive snakes....in and out of the water.

Ever been attacked by a fresh water shark, otherwise known as a Lake Trout....
