Celebrity wakeboarding

went to a Switchfoot concert this past summer..had my hyperlite hat on. Learned that a few of the guys from the band (lead singer Jon Foreman and his brother Tim) like to wake board. Anyone else know of any celebrities that board? I heard Casey Kane and Dale Earnhardt Jr. also enjoy the sport very much. Ill post a couple pics...think they are still in my camera....doh!

Tony Hawk wakeboards, so does Tommy Lee. I know James Hetfield likes to waterski a lot, not sure if that includes wakeboarding.

A lot of nascar drivers have wake boats. A lot have lake houses on lake norman outside of charlotte.

i'm not sure if he still rides, but tommy lee used to ride. there was a wakeworld article about it as well.

The had a show on some bull riders that wakeboard. I believe one of them was justin mcbride and it showed footage of him doing huge raleys and some basic inverts. The have the right bodies for it because they are small and light with no fear at all. I would definitely rather try any intimidating move in wakeboarding than get on one of those crazy bulls.

Shila Bluff...or whatever his name ..from transformers, and surfs up, indiana jones..you get the point...he boards too I just found out. Relient K dudes board a lot too. MXPX at least two of the dudes board. Actress Amy Adams boards, but claims not to be really good at it. IMO skill level does not count...its just cool that people from all walks of life enjoy the sport.

I work closely with numerous of artists over the summer at a great venue in WA that overlooks the Columbia River. There have been numerous of artists who have requested to the use of a boat. MasterCraft Seattle/NW has always helped me out with an X-series boat when lining this up. Some of the artists over the last few years include: Tim McGraw (Wakeboards), Faith Hill, NickelBack, Puddle of Mud(Really likes Wakesurfing), Steve Winwood Band avid waterskiers and also love wakesurfing, John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Kutless, there are more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.....

You will have to post up when you arrange a boat for people at the gorge so we can look for them while we are at shows.... that would be pretty cool to roll up on them on the water....

Somebody said on here a while back (I think it was David Williams?) that wakeboarding was the one thing Pastrana wasn't good at. I'm sure if he was really into it,it would be back in the X- Games.

Theres video on youtube of Pastrana hydrofoiling.
Its pretty cool as well, on the Lost Prophits cd theres an intro to a song thats a phone call of one of the band members talking about being stressed about the studio and hes like well lets just go wakeboard or something today.

Diggs .... yeah I won't post on here just for the fact that they don't want to be bothered anymore than they already are out on the Columbia. It's also something that could probably make me lose my job. Hahaha You will just have to look at when the show dates are and look for usually a brand new X-2 ! Thanks to MC NorthWest / Seattle!
