I want to say that Wakeboarding Magazine covered this trick in one of their older "How to do everything" issues. I know that doesn't help much but maybe someone can confirm that. Either way, it looks super cool. Thats what I like about Murray. He goes out and has fun every single time.

tantrum to blind, best done by The Boog Master him self! edit I think tantrum to blind is best done by him, but that tail press is sick! Lean back, and I think throw the crack away! good luck

If Murray had a signature move, I think it would be the 313 or the Blind Judge. No one does them better.

Tumbleturn? Learn how to barefoot. That's where it came from. I don't know really how to explain it except cut out and build some speed, Try to stay more on your upper back, and make sure your board isn't dragging in the water. I know that wasn't much help but it's really something you have to figure out for yourself.

I'm pretty sure I still have that magazine. Nose blunt.

Raley was invented by Shapiro and 313 by Murray.

I thought that Chet Raley actually invented the Raley?

bbr - I think Chet was coaching shapiro, and named it for him. I could be wrong though.

X5 Blind judge... I love that section from counterfeit, that's what started me in doing power slides & the front slides. I've tried the tail slide a few times you have to put all your weight back to get the board up like that. maybe the master him self will chime in on that trick....

Also note for that shot he is riding a flexboard (Roam) on which it is much easier to press - not detracting from the length or verticality (yeah I said it) of his.

hey lyle thats a pretty good video yall ar better than me by far the best i have done was a Air Raley over my cousin his parents were freakin out after that though i did grind like a 30 foot floating tree one time you could get some serious air off the base where the roots start to go up.we were gettin like 6 feet till it snaped with my lion backer of a friend grinded it.

Murray: Blind Judge or huge raley to tumble turn.

I love that trick, the board press that the OP was talking about, I've been trying to think through the mechanics of the trick and the only thing that makes sense would be to come into the turn on you toes and stand the board up on it's nose....

Anybody here know Shaun or could Shaun himself tell us how to do that?

Ha! Ya'll are funny. Good stuff. First off, very humbled to see so many positive things from you guys, just having fun while trying to push my riding through the years.
So where to start?
The tail press, or whatever you want to call it. Flying through the corner of the lake on the tail of the board.
Getting speed to get the board out from under you is key.
So cut out, in the whip is easiest, and get all of your weight on the tail of the board. People try to lift the board and that doesn't do anything but get it into a weak wheelie and then it plops back down.
So get all your weight on your back foot to where you are almost sitting on the tail. Once you are there, quickly push out your back foot toward the boat, almost like you are trying to spray the boat with the tail of the board.
So technically speaking. You want to get your center of gravity way behind the board and then push the board out in front of you. That is why the speed of the whip really helps.
3:13, is the actual tricks name. Parks did it first, I did it the next day, both on my lake and we named it together. Ahhh, cute. Long story, another thread.
Tumble turn, worm turn, back spin, fall down and get back up move. Whatever you want to call that.
That does help to have a barefoot background, but make sure you have a lot of speed and like Nick said, get your upper back on the water and make sure your board is off when your back goes down. If both are on the water at the same time, you stop pretty quickly.
Hope that helps.
Shaun

it's actually in the pause menu. up down 10 times, left right 10 times. that unlocks EVERYTHING!

Why is the trick named 3:13? Is it after a bible verse?

I believe it was the time the trick was landed, or something of that nature.

"People try to lift the board and that doesn't do anything but get it into a weak wheelie and then it plops back down."

That's how I tried every time and that's exactly what happened. Thanks for clearing it up.
