So, I used to be very consistent with my R2R, but I haven't landed one since July. My wipeouts on them are very consistent though, you can see in this short video what they look like. There are 5 attempts here on the video, the first 2 are consistent with each other, and the last 3 are consistent with each other. It's these last 3 wipeouts that seem to be what's happening on almost every attempt, what the hell do I need to do to get this trick back? Help!

In order to entice you to watch, I put a scene from one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes on the audio, enjoy.

What alawys helped me was to make a shorter cut, and ur def not making a progressive enought cut, try to make a harder cut and really throw it away from the boat, ur sliding out cause ur not throwing it away from the boat enough

rammer, i've been looking at your vids over and over - for whatever reason, on both types of fails you're not getting around to your toeside edge.

i would agree with ricky that you're not edging progressively well enough and not standing up tall at the wake. it's all about how you approach and leave - notice how in one of your cuts you slide out at the beginning. get that progressive edge and pop and the rest of the trick will fall into place as you obviously know how to execute it.

let us know how it goes - nice add of the seinfeld audio too! :-)

edit: just looked at this instructional:

interestingly enough, your landing position looks like photo 4 in the progression.

Both of these guys are right. But I do my R2R a bit dif. I start way out and take a very easy cut standing tall, just to land on the down side of the second wake. When I hit the base of the wake I cut hard and pop it up, throw it away from the boat, as I spot the water I let my arm out to slow my flip down. I was doin the same thing as you at first, Try to under throw your flip. Land on your toes and ride away.
