Launching at Lake Elsinore....

I haven't been there is about 3 years. Last time I was there, the only place to launch was the privately owned trailer/RV park on the north end.

Is that still the best place to launch? Any other advice? I'll be driving up on the 15 from Fallbrook.

There is a public launch site at the southeast end of the lake.
The ramp sucks, and the parking really sucks.

I would stick the RV Park at the northwest end of the lake

The water still has a nice florescent green to it

FYI, some of the RV parks are closed early in the week. Playtime, which is on the Southwest is closed Tues & Wed, ramp is fine, as long as your not in a lowered tow vehicle? The ramp at the North end has plenty of parking, use the ramp at the far right when facing the lake (fresh sand). I don't use the ramp at the Southeast corner, because there's too much crap in that tiny corner of the lake....

theres a ramp on the southeast end like david said.

i remember those days of waking up at 6 to go get good green water at smelsanore. got so fed up we ended up moving to norcal.
