I have a 1996 Pacific tandem galvenized (sp?) trailer with galvenized rims that, well are just ugly IMO.

I'm currently in Afghanistan, but the boat/trailer is in San Antonio Tx and I'd like to find an aluminum tandem for it. Any idea if any companies do a trade in or prices in general? I looked at a couple websites but couldn't find prices.

We are buying Phoenix trailers now.We used Prestige for several years but they are out of business, they were bought by Heritage.www.phoenixtrail.com makes a nice looking aluminum trailer.Their big triple axle customs are as much as a painted steel but very nice.
You can email Chip at sales@phoenixtrail.com

We don't do much with aluminum here in MN but we do work with Phoenix and I would recommend them.

We've done a triple axle aluminum for an X-80 and a tandem for a CC 211 they were both rock solid.

Thanks guys for the replies... Right now its for me to contact anyone directly. I'd just like to see prices for a painted steel/alum double axle trailer for a 21.5" sunsetter. Anyone take trades? What do you think a fully galvinized double axle is worth?

Try listing your trailer on craigslist in your area.

There is a marine recycler in Rancho Cordova, Ca. (Sacramento) called Rancho Marine recycling. He has some nice nearly new used trailers for sale and will ship them. He gets around $800-1400 for nice trailers. He has other stuff that is not on the web site also.
