Women on the Boat.

Aight.......I wanted to start a little poll here to see what the appropriate girl to guy ratio is on your boat. Mine is 2 guys to 1 girl unless it's my buddies boardin.

5 girls to 2 guys

depends on whear your heading for the day, sometimes its more girls, some time its no girls.

last night it was 1 guy 2 girls..hard to find people to ride around here, but it seemed to work ok

About half and half.

monday i had 8 girls to 2 guys, that was a good ratio most of the time it's like 2-3 guys to every girl it sucks, most of the girls i know are flakes

Most of my buddies and I are married, so we usually end up with a one to one ratio of guys to girls, but if the wives don't go, then we usaully end up with the sausage boat.

We try to get young, single women to join us, but it is hard to reel them in when you are old, fat, married and not that great of a rider.

Oh well, no worries, we've got a great pair of binoculars on the boat so we can enjoy the bun on the boats around us.

Always try to have more girls than guys, or else it's a sausage fest.

hahaha I say 2 girls to every one guy. if its camping 3 girls to every guy. the more girls to guy ratio the better.

No girls really. We launch, ride, throw the back back in storage, and head home. I think my wife burned out on the life style. An infant makes it harder.

If the wife is at home, you will be a lot better off only taking guys!

Seriously, though, leaving her at home with the infant is going to get old real quick. You need to consider changing your "lifestyle" to something more family oriented. Doesn't mean no boating, just means "family" boating.

I got super lucky one year witth a 3:1 girls average.
Now 2:1 guys I need to find more girls that owen boats now.

The beer to male ratio also matters here... let's not forget!

during the week up on the lake i norcal, girls to guy ratios dont really matter imo... Ur out there for one reason. to ride... but, on the weekends, if you pull up to the party spots with a boat full of guys, u usually get a couple of stares... testical festival

I've found that the more girls you bring, the better prepared you're boat becomes. They seem to remember to bring everything important you forget! Towels, sunscreen, food to snack on. We can't even remember all of our equipment most of the time. Usually someone has to end up sharing binding screws or something small.

Oh, and we try to shoot for 2:1 girl/guy ratio.

With no women my gear would consist of 40 lbs of ice, more beer than the boat could consume in a week, and my board. I admit I need a female or 2 to balance proper preparations for more than 3 hours on the water. Thus at least 3:2 ratio for over 3 hours, otherwise KITT might as well pilot the boat home...

My boat is where I go to get away from women. We launch, we ride a couple sets each, we talk smack like we've still got a pair, and then head home to do our honeydo lists.

The upside is my son has been coming out with us rain or shine from the time he was two. He's now seven, and if I dare leave in the morning without waking him to go, he throw's a fit. My wife is totally bought into it because she get's her free time from us when we go.

I guess being married changes your priorities. We go out to ride not to to get our swerve on with chicks. Our wives leave the week night riding to us and sometimes join on the weekends. They're usually down to join in for the camping or houseboat trips, but it's totally up to them.

I used to do the 8 girls/2 guys thing all the time. It gets old listening to the whining and having to move drunk girls around to get a good wake. Now we just make up their weight with lead. It talks back less and doesn't drink your beer.

Now, girls that ride are a different story. They're welcome on the boat anytime.

Evan, I agree when we go out its usually just three dudes and we ride, and its fun and simple, I want to ride, not deal with some drunk chicks that all just want to see a flip instead of a severly poked out indy shifty, or even that matter falling 100 times just to learn a new trick. So like you normally its just 3 guys riding having a good time

Buzz & L/V-- Just wallowing in the black hole of domesticity over here.....I've voluntarily sunk to watching t-ball, reading storybooks, and buying kid quads for group putt-putts at Pismo....... SOMEBODY HELP ME!!! The good news is I'm spreading the dune and wake bug to the unsuspecting crumb-crunchers! ...........I'm living vicariously through the rest of you guys for the girl/boy ratio, so don't let me down!!

One think I have learned when going camping is invite atleast 4 girls to every guy you invite because for some dumb a** reason the guys invite one other guy friend and it messes things up. Some guys need to learn

Yeah, hopefully when we camp out at the lake this weekend for memorial day the ratios will all be worked out.
