I actually think they are really cool boats, although I've never seen one in person. Not sure what they were thinking with that color combo...

It's a direct drive. . . why are we even bothering to talk about it.

They make a v-drive as well I checked them out online. Seem to be a nice boat but a little pricy IMO.

I guess only "real" wakeboarders drive V drives, huh??

from what has been said aboutit.... its supossed to throw an amazing wake....but your right the price....it has alot of options none of us would ever use....

any boat would look bad with the wrong color scheme.

Water ski magazine actually does the boat testing on the lake where I live. They were very impressed with the wake. Actually Nick Wienacker said it was one of the best wakes he had ridden behind. The color scheme is pretty bad though.

That is just the new theft proof option.

ive been behind some very nice direct drives, many of them better than allot of v-drive wakes ive seen..

There's a svfara on my lake, from what I've seen and (I don't know stats on this years) the short beam I've always been turned off.

Even with that said though, I'm not going to knock anyones boat, it's their baby and as long as they're happy with it great. That goes as far to include the 15' 90 hp outboards. Whatever it takes to wakeboard, or whatever you have. Make the best of it, ride and share in the sport so many of us love.

I actually own an 05 Svfara 696. I do agree this is one UGLY color combo. We have been extremely happy with our boat. It has lots of fun options (yes a bar!)The wake is as big as I will ever nead. I can't imagine paying $ for the color scheme in the picture??!!!!

Could have been a disgruntled employee or maybe he didn't get the memo. That, or this is just one phase of the master marketing plan...you know what they say - no publicity is bad publicity. Dirty trick...played right into our hands. That guy has upper management written all over him.

Why are people trying to defend this dudes boat? Probably an awesome boat but I've never seen one uglier, ever. He will only sell that god awful boat at a huge loss. I would be embarassed to say I ordered that color scheme. Thanks for sharing the pic.

I looked at some profiles on the above Post's. Some people do not even have a boat listed or a pic in their profile. That boat is not my style. For the people bashing that boat let's see you're boats.

Was mine bashing? I was just meaning good hummor even though I agree with everything that has been said about this boat. If mine Is bashing ill post a picture.

maybe they wanted to see how crazy or ugly of a boat they could make.. i think its so ugly its really cool! every one has different tastes.. if we all liked the same things this world would be pretty boring.. im not defending anyone.. i guess i just have a positive attitude.. my parents always taught me if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all.. to each his own!!

Let's go with who has the ugliest board and bindings set-up...

I wish people could just grasp the fact that some people and some things are prettier than others. It is not a bad thing, it's just reality. Given that all other things are equal, people will usually pick the prettier thing. I get that peoples tastes vary, but generally society has similar ideas of what's attractive. Although the boat may be a great performer, the color scheme on this boat is not going to win any trophies at the boat show.

Same principal applies to the fat, ugly girl with the heart of gold. We probably get along great and she might be dynamite in the sack but I won't be entering her in any beauty contests. I'd probably wax her more often though.

Now I have a board and binding combo that I admit is ugly. If only I had a digital camera...

I agree with Jonathan's statement (beauty is in the eye of the beholder or in this case the owner). BUT having someone post a pic of your boat (wife, girfriend, kids, dog, etc....) and call them ugly in an open forum would probably piss you off. Even if it wasn't their cup of tea. JMHO

This is where Wakeworld typically differs from other discussion forums, where I have seen "UGLY ____, post your pics" somewhere else, I usually see SWEET RIDES...POST PICS" here. But I have noticed lately that people are hating on other peoples stuff. Like grandma always used to say, unless you have something good to say, don't say anything at all.

I actually checked out thsese boats at the Pleasanton boat show and they are nice boats. right out of Canada. To each their own on apprearance. They do run a little high in cost..
