Just wondering if anybody had any pics of the wake on 83-89 Ski nautiques. How much weight in the boat?? How fast?? Rope length??

Does your wake always fold over on one side at 20 mph?? I have a barefoot nautique and at 20mph the wake is really washy on both sides and at like 22 its clean on one side and washy on the other.
Thanks

Most boats will wash out on the opposite wake when the rider is cutting hard.

My boats wake washes out on the other side when the rider cuts out, but most of the newer wider boats ive ridden behind dont do that. I only have one stillshot of the wake, its with about 1200 to 1300 pounds in it including people. At about 20 to 21 mph, I just found out yesterday my speedo was off. The rope is 65 feet long and the rider is about 5'6". The wake gets way bigger when we start getting past 1500 to 1600 pounds. Its past my knees and solid.

If you go at 20 mph with no rider behind the boat, are both sides clean??

O yeah, there both very clean. Its just when a rider cuts out really hard that the other side washes over. It doesnt effect the side of the wake that youre hitting.

Most older boats do that, esp older nautiques bc they are narrow compared to newer wakeboats.
