Been riding for 12 yrs. and been riding a '05 Murray 138.1 for the last couple yrs. Want to buy the '07 3DS Which i feel i can stick my tricks better about 99.9%BIG difference from the more FreeStyle fluid feeling board. Never rode the 3DS exactly but have friends that i ride their old TFD which has a very similar setup on fin placement just lacking the small molded in fins. Anyhow which board do you guys feel i should purchase, the 135cm or the 139cm. I weigh 175lbs.and 5'91/2" today (lol) i like the deck on the 135 and realize that the board is where its at not looks. Also the landings on the 139 would be softer but more swing weight to throw around. HELP ME DECIDE PLEASE!!! Thanks ,George

the tfd is/was my favorite board! I highly recomend the 3ds, to me it rides just like the tfd but a tad bit looser and a little more pop. I have only one complaint about the 3ds, it is very heavy to me. I weigh 135 and ride the 135 so I would go with the 139 or bigger for you.

Chris rides the 139 and has for the last 3 years. He has always prefered loose boards and rides the 3ds with the .7 fins. He is about 5'8 and 160 lbs now but was 145 lbs when he started riding it. The latest core is super lite so I don't think you will have any problem with the 139 as far as spinning goes. If you look at my delta video here on wakeworld that is Chris on the 139. I think most people benefit from a longer board and feel more comfortable on it.

I don't know, Chris's 07 is a bit lighter then his 06 but I'm not sure how it stacks up against the competition. I doubt he's getting anything special from the factory but then again he doesn't get them off the local shelf either.

139 with the .7 A-wings or .8 P-wings. I love the P-wings and it definitely loosens up the ride. The 3DS is a great board.
