I just saw this on youtube. It was from lake powell in 2007 after worlds. There are some clips of tandem boat surfing as well as a little backside surfing. enjoy.

thanks drew, that backside riding really helps me. I ride that way(on port side goofy) and have been trying to learn a 3. almost pulled it off the other day, just falling out the back. i think i am not getting enough speed.

anthonyv911 (tonyv420) Be sure you start deep and get alot of speed going into the 3 and don't force the 3 around just do it real nice and smooth. Good Luck

Seriously?! Did I see a backside big spin at the end of the clip? That's insane. Very nice of you to offer up suggestions to the folks also, Drew.

Right on Drew, thanks for the tips. Surfdad is a backside big spin rated a difficult trick? Cause I really want to pull one off. I want to come ride in the Nor Cal surf comp with you guys next year in the old bald guys division. I hope it goes down again. Looked like you all had lots of fun. Thanks again Drew ! I have been starting on the way up, never thought of starting deep. Can't wait to get out and try again. I live in Tacoma ,Wa so you know its always raining here! LOL

We did a little bit of this this weekend.. started off accidental when Kay fell back into the chase boat wake while filming. Question for you Drew, did you have both boats fully ballasted out or no? It seemed to almost work better for us with the goofy boat not having ballast in it..

Sick riding by the way.. those ollie 3's are sweet !
