I have herd sooooooooooo many times that it is not speed you want going into the wake, its edge!! However, as you use your progressive edge and access a greater edge you will create more speed????????? Also, if you watch the pros they all back off their edge before they hit the wake (Not much!!!) otherwise you will be standing tall away from the boat and place loads of pull on your arms in the air?????????

just a thought

Danny,
It is a lot about edge, and yes it seems the harder you edge the fast you cut, but it's more about line tension than it is about speed. see, the pro's back off of their edge a little, but if you notice, their ropes are still pulled extremely tight. if you back off your edge too much, it will lose the tension and you will go nowhere in the air. so yes you can back off the edge just a little, but DO NOT let that rope get any slack.

Cool that was what i wanted to reasure myself, although staying on egde is perfectly true you have to stand tall in order to pop to your potential. However if you back of to much you will lose you tention in the line and not get the greatest amount of pop!! True????
