I keep hearing the term frame-less windshield but it seems to have a frame. What does frame-less mean?

Would it not be great to have a real frame-less windshield like a frame less shower at the top edge of the windshield?

it means... there's a frame just like any other windsheild but the marketing department thought it would be fun to call it "frameless".

There's still a frame all the way around... it's just designed so that much of the frame is hidden (or sort of hidden.) Think of it as more of a "look" vs. an engineering concept.

I see it's frame-"less" for less actual frame. Makes you wonder what other bag of stuff your getting sold, get that man into politics.
