Wanted to post this for anyone going there for spring break and wants to wakeboard. While I was there in January I hooked up with Andrea Gayton and rode out in the bay. I forgot my camera but had my cell phone. So the pictures kind of suck. I thought it was going to be kind of a crappy pull due to water conditions but it actually wasn't too bad at 8:00 am. It wasn't glass but I could pull off most of my tricks. Andrea is super cool and gave me some good tips. She said it was cool if I posted her number so if anyone wants to ride while they are down there give her a call 044-624-129-3147 (044 is the country code).

Skiing made me board,
Lyle

I wish I had known she was down there before I took my trip last year. I definitely would have done that. she is a legend (IMO) on the womens side of things.

Me too. I've been there the last 3 summers and wish I could have hooked up with Andrea for some riding... Next time for sure...

Lyle,

Thanks for the 411, did you bring down your own gear in Jan or just use Andrea & her crews? I have ridden out there a couple times behind a bayliner & even a panga but no BU - that would be sick!

I am only going down for 4days/3nights & have company functions about 50% of the time but Id luv to get in a couple pulls & throw down some $$ for gas/time/etc but debating on lugging my gear & paying the 50 bux each way ( Mexicana charges for surf/golf/etc).

I just brought my wetsuit. She had a couple different Liquid Force boards. I am not sure which one I used but it rode very similar to the PS3. My impressions were she isn't getting as much business as she had hoped for, whicn made me feel bad because she is a super cool chick and as stated a legend in the wakeboard world. Here is another pict.Upload

Lyle,

Awesome bro & Thanks. I will drop her a call for sure & post some pics when I get back in Cali. I board a plane in less than 23 hours & am stoked, this will make this company trip the best I've ever had!!!

Oh yeah, the annual WW Cabo thread.... Man, I love that place. I didn't make it last year, but try to go at least once a year usually. I've never had a chance to hook up with Andrea, but I think it's about time. I think I'll be about due by November to head south of the border.
