i've been wakeboarding for about 2 and a half years and i snowboard in the winter, im 5 foot 3 inches and 135 punds...no not fat...i wanna try wakeskating this summer what is a good sized board and what shoes? is it a huge difference from wakeboarding or is the only difference the non-bindings?

theres is a not a big difference between the two... with a wakeskate its a lot less grippy so it doesnt carve as hard as a wakeboard. Basically any size board is good, longer is a little easier for clearing the wake. also if u get a wakeskate with foam you dont need shoes right away. if u get comfortable riding and want to try tricks i suggest either Reefs or DVS.
