Can't get my Pictures to Post?

Ok, I admit, I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to computers but, why can't I get a single picture to post on this site????????? I couldnt even get one to post on my profile!!!!!! I did everything it told me to and still nothing. Help!!!!!

The picture must be under 100 megs.

under 100 megs? that's a big ass pic!

as far as i know, it has to be under 150kb.

Your picture should be no bigger than 1000 pixels wide by 1000 pixels tall and under 150 Kilobytes, not 100 megs.

how do u edit it??? I go to Paint and decrease it and it doesn't work.

right click on the file, then click properties...it should show size. did you go to Image -> Stretch/Skew, then keyed in smaller percentage than 100%? do that. save. then right click again and check properties. check size again. do this until under 150kb.
