I'm looking at both boats as an option to buy both boats are 2008 and fully loaded difference in price is around 5K but mothly payments would be roughly the same. I really need some imput. Test drove both and each has things i like which the other doesnt (ie wake size, seating, storage etc.). Which boat would you get knowing what i've told you. I know which way i'm leaning but just need some imput

Have you ridden behind both?

When you're looking at boats of this calibre, if you're not taking the wake into consideration you're missing most of the point...

If I was buying a Malibu, I would get a VLX.

Otherwise I would get the 210 just for the freakish, big wake.

I still haven't ridden one, but a few of my friends have given the VTX a thumbs down in the wake department. You should try one for yourself though.

Yes, try for yourself. That is too much money to throw around to buy a boat you havent tried . I have been behind both (not a newer hulled sante though) and loved the wake of a vtx and the interior setup of that boat. I have been a longtime nautique leghumper and I would buy the vtx in a heartbeat, I liked it that much.

Since you test drove both, why don't you tell us what you liked about each one? Which way were you leaning?
