I am just finalizing the purchase of an 81 nautique and I am currently weighing the decision of an insurance carrier. I got a quote from SkiSafe of 175/yr and Boat US of either 126/yr (for their bare minimum coverage) or 206/yr for their premium coverage. I'd rather not skimp on coverage, so I'd go with the premium coverage anyway, since it's a TINY increase in the grand scheme of things.
What details should I be looking at for coverage.. are there other options I should check out? What experience do you folks have with these or other carriers? I noticed that Erik on Wakeboard Report really loved his coverage from BoatUS...
