When riding in Florida are alligators really an issue? I've heard they are around, but never hear of any injuries. Don't really have this problem in Colorado.

You'll be fine.

If one does happen to get in your way, just boardslide over it.

I lived in Colorado for 10 years, and it took me a while to get used to seeing gators all the time. They don't like the boats and take off when you start riding. It's fun to check them out when you are booze cruising at night.
