Went out riding last night, when I put the board back up in the rack I noticed a crack through the traction pad, through the top decking of the board...it's toast. Indented from my back foot, likely from coming down from a landing on one of my HUGE airs (j/k)

Hoping I can work out something with I.S., otherwise Jeff Walker is gonna help fix it for me because it's my favorite board for sure...just not sure if I can get my hands on a replacement traction pad?

Go big or go home!

I'm sure that the traction can be replaced fairly easily, but are you saying that there is damage to the board underneath as well?

If it's just the traction, no biggie though

Either way it can be repaired.

It's through the board (if it were just the traction pad, this would be a non-issue) - Jeff can fix it, the pad just needs to be pulled, so I'm guessing I'll have to go with a different set of traction pads since you can't buy a replacement set from them that I know of? Just surprised myself that I kicked through the thing! It's hard to tell from the picture, but it's indented down about 1" into the board itself. I've put nice dents in my ShredStixx and fixed those, but this seems like a little more TLC/reinforcement will be needed!

Looks repairable. I would go with some Hydro turf instead of the IS stuff anyway, that IS stuff seems like it adds additional weight that is not needed IMO. I don't think James Walker uses the IS stuff on his own board, does he?

RJ broke his original flyboy in almost the same place. It repaired fine, it was a weird break, but I guess with such a different construction it shouldn't be too surprising when it breaks different than other boards. At least its a break from usage. I hate it when we ding a board from doing something stupid, luckily, that doesn't happen often. Maybe it will feel like a different board with different traction and be even funner.
