How to get a good wake?

I just got a 2000 Centurion elite V-drive. What's the best way to get a good wake for surfing?

Extra 250 back corner if you have dual tanks in back fill both. Will need 250 bag up by driver tab all the way up 10.2 mph

I have a similar hull. I say take the hard tanks out of the rear and plumb in 750's. Those boats love weight in the rear. Put the rub rail underwater at the corner and get ready. If you need specifics, just ask. I am sure others on here will chime in. Centurioncrew.com is loaded with info that could help too.

i have the same boat no bennet tabe, bigshow had one with a tab. You only seem to need it for the darkside.

Our set up is 750 in the locker 400 under the side bench and 250 or so in the bow. 2200-2300 rpms. Getting the boat to list or lean helps the wave a lot so make sure all people and movable weight is on the surf side.

Or in my case, skinny chicks and a bunch of sacs under the seats and less beer (water for the skinny chicks, same amount of beer for me). Designated driver of course.

Specifics: 750 in locker, 750 on seats, 300lbs in bow and stock ballast. Touch your rub rail.

no hard tanks yet in 2000, and an enzo sack wont work in the older boats because of a fiberglass bulkhead between the vdrive locker and under the side bench but. A 750 in the locker and 750 on the bench (we use 400lb sac and a couple people.) 1500=enzo sac. Add a little in the nose for a longer pocket and you are golden.

You don't need that much, we started with two boxes full of rocks, then to one 500# sac then two, then a 750 ect.... Surfing was fun no matter the wave size, but you are always wanting a bigger wave.
