For those interested (no need to make a jack ** comment on skiing). It's about the slalom and skiing of the boat mainly, but it's new and in open or closed bow. New graphics are good imo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVamJacibZI&feature=player_embedded

Two things I like about it 1. The slope of the nose. From the drivers seat, it looks like you would be able to see the water much better as the nose slopes downward. 2. That hull looks like it doesn't have a "V" compaired to other boats. In that video, where they show the side by side, it looks like the newer hull is more rounded like a "U" shape.

Neat. CC appears to be a ski boat company to me. Leading edge on the ski side. Late and poor at even following on the wake side.

GD....wow. I honestly don't know what to say... I'd give you a pull behind a poorly designed 210 but you would probably break your hip or something..

I think you guys give Nautique too much credit. How are they to improve if you say everything is awesome. No boat is perfect. Great hull, but what's with the cookie cutter seating, the lack of cup holders, funky towers,....GD makes a point. Now, back on the subject, that 200 is sweet!

lol lack of cupholders. Its always been that way! They have always been more of a riders boat imo. Well at least the older ones before 2006 (220) and 2007(210 and 230) They were never really fancy, they were more about what you need to ride hard. I personally like the new seating but see how some may not. I think its great that they are putting r&d back into slalom too. I may wakeboard 99.9% of the time, but I have a TON of RESPECT for slalom. Slalom is what earned Nautique its name. A lot (just about everything) people love about nautiques for wakeboarding came from their old slalom hulls. I think this is great for the ski industry and I think it will affect the wakeboarding industry too in the future. One final thought, I personally would much rather share my water with some good slalom skiers that know what they are doing then a lot of the people I see on my lake with 75k wakeboard boats that dont know what they are doing and messing it up for everyone. Props to Nautique for getting back to their roots and yet still keeping it fresh

Tuneman if you are talking about wake boats then I guess you haven't been in one in awhile. I love our new 2009 SAN210. One of the coolest features of the boat is the flip around stadium seating, that gets compliments almost every time we have new people on the boat. I can count atleast 12 cup holders off the top of my head without being in the boat, And the tower folds down in a matter of 10 seconds, no bolts or anything. How many other boats do that? IMO Nautique is still doing it right.

I do like the look of the new SNOB 200, but does correct craft really think this will bring skiing back? I think they should've invested more time into their crossover or Air nautiques, where most of their revenue comes from. It just seems to me that I see more and more wakeboard boats on the water and less and less skiers. Their 216V was kindof a bomb in my opinion, it has way 2 large of a swim deck without much interior seating, and I would sell someone a new 210 over that boat anyday, almost same size ski wake, with a perfect surf and boarding wake. Will someone clarify for me why they sunk money into a dying sport(in terms of ski boat sales).

While ski boats don't dominate in every market there is still quite a few sold esspecially in the Midwest. I know we sell a good number of MC 197's and X-14's every year, the new CC 200 is right between those two boats in size.

skiing may not be nearly as popular as wakeboarding, mainly due to the learning curve and need for calm water, but there are still alot of us out here. we just dont go to public lakes anymore. there are hundreds of private ski lakes across the US where you will find alot of slalom skiers. i will be a future owner of that boat in 2011.

Very true. Skiing does not need to be brought back it is still here. That is why everyone is still running a ski line in their line up. If it wasn't for the slalom, wakeboarding would not be here. These boats like the one above are the heart of inboard industry and are what got many of the companies in business.

The boat looks great for pure slalom on private lakes. I would be a bit concerned running around in one of these co-habitating with wakeboard boats. Notice how low the bow goes when the boat slows down, even low when it is running? That said I sure would love to have one on a lift on a private lake with bouys and a jump...
