Cruising in my 2001 MC 230, ran out of gas and killed the fuel pump. Obviously a big no no for Fuel Injected, but if the fricken DCM Module was working perhaps I'd have a better fuel gauge reading. Regardless, curious to know if the old Fuel Pump can be overhauled? What about the filter? I'd love to have an extra one sitting around ready to go.......Carter is the mfg. MC shop got me on the part for 475, completed the install myself. Any other points of distribution?
