I know in the TWC of 08 he was scored a FS3 for that. Coincidentally I think wakesurf mag had Chase doing the same trick at/around the same time as an Air Reverse in a how-to. It's something to see live.

Both Chase and James are such powerful wakesurfers. It's been fun to watch them develop in to young men. For what it's worth, I listened to the young men talk about tricks and they identify two unique tricks that involve the complete frontside rotation. The one above of James in the video, the young men call a Frontside Surface 3, the other involves an aerial where they land past 180 (they both were talking about height) and then slide the tail around and they referred to that as an Air Reverse, as Loc mentioned, if memory serves. Edited to clarify. (Message edited by surfdad on January 20, 2009)

Is this what you are talking about? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SLDJfONMFg&feature=related If so it would be a killer trick behind the boat.

Hey Bryan, I took a quick look earler, but now I can't seem to access that link. Not sure what I'd be doing wrong! I think I remember in your link the folks doing 3's in the air? Chase and James were calling a Frontside Air Reverse where they landed past 180, and rotated the rest on the surface. The rotation was also frontside as you would describe a frontside 3 vs a backside 3 in wakeboarding. I found this link of Taj Burrows, and it looks very similar to what Chase and James do. The link is here

Show: abra cadabra, you're 45. Rob, text James, I'm sure he'd be happy to tell you what he and Chase are calling it. I don't mean to indicate the nomenclature is generally accepted - just what those two young men termed it. BTW, how is college? It seems everytime I turn around you "boys" are now men and assuming so many responsibilities.

yo bro, no i didnt get up north, i actually went south to sb, rincon was super good but the rincon classic was goin on and everyone in cali was there haha. i ended up picking up a channel islands flyer with the s core technology, and a pu flyer quad fin. these things work so good in like smaller weaker surf. let me knwo when you wanna come down (probably like a decent W or WNW swell) and we will shred down there. the last swell didnt really make in in the channel.

Rob, sorry dude. That has been corrected in the news section. I have been so wrapped up in marketing the Switchblade that I completely forgot the ones that helped put it all together. BTW, Kevin from Switchblade present. Feel free to contact me at anytime with questions or comments. As I look through the names I see quite a few people I have had the chance to work with over the past years.
