As I'm sure many of you are aware, the American Wakesurf Association has assited the NorCal INT League with the first ever Wakesurf Series this summer.

Each time that I have needed support or assistance, the folks at Centurion have stepped up to provide me a boat for the contest and asked if there was anything more they could do.

Such is the case for this fourth and final stop of our wakesurfing series. Tim Lopes of Centurion on very short notice, convinced the Sellers (of Surf Fest fame) to take their reverse rotating prop Enzo up to Villa Lagos for us.

Some of the boat manufacturers wanted to have wakesurfing made illegal, NONE other than Centurion has done more than provide the AWSA lip service. The folks from Centurion boats have gone out of their way to insure the continuity of the sport we love AND to encourage and support the AWSA and NorCal INT League.

Props to Tim, the Sellers and everyone at Kal Kustom and Centurion Boats.

Thanks for writing this Jeff.

I've had the pleasure to work with the team at Centurion for the last 4 years. It's probably well known that Centurion and Inland Surfer have a great relationship. This is because from day 1, we've always shared the same goal- help spread the word about wakesurfing and provide people the equipment to have fun and be safe.

I'm not sure how many people know this, but regardless of which boat you wakesurf behind, Tim Lopes and Rick Lee at Centurion made it their PERSONAL MISSIONS to ensure you have the legal right to enjoy your sport (while all the other boat makers were standing on the sidelines). Centurion is the only boat manufacture that I know of that has truly embraced wakesurfing and continues to be deeply committed to the sport through their product innovations and personal involvement.
